Crew is over for the season. I'll miss my team and the intensity and the camaraderie, but honestly I could really use the extra time to catch up on sleep and homework, two things that I do too little of. I don't have to worry about getting out of shape, wrestling starts in a week and weight lifting and PE are year round. Speaking of lifting, we did a back-squat max test today. My 'realistic' goal was 100lbs, realistic in that I was pretty sure I could do it but I didn't really know. My ultimate goal was 130lbs, my weight. Well, I just kept going up and up and up putting on more and more. I maxed out at
185lbs. I am so effing proud of myself!
